Alora listens to the voice in her head and wonders if it is coming from Torm. The voice in her head is saying "Take the necklace. What's the worst that could happen?"
Aerie sighed. Standing aside from everyone, she quietly cast Sanctuary upon herself. Once encased within the shimmering cocoon of aura, she strode up to the pedestal and reached for the necklace.
Aerie feels a surge of insanity run through her at the touch of the pendant. Thankfully, she is able to beat it down with mental fortitude, but the pendant seems to feel unsavory in her hands. She feels like she wants to drop it and have nothing to do with it ever again.
Alora is disappointed that they have to leave something shiny behind but even she isn't going to risk madness to get it.
If they have tried all the doors in this part of the castle she will go back to the corridor and head the way they didn't try last time (OOC: North I think?)
Okay. Well, the room with the towels and dolphin soaps had another door to the east. But something has changed. You hear a rattling noise coming from the cabinet.
"There is something in there that wasn't in there before!"
Alora cautiously approaches the cabinet. If possible she will tie a rope around the handle so she can pull the door or drawer open from a distance. If this is not possible she will wait until the party are around her with weapons drawn before opening the cabinet.
Alora hurriedly retreats. "Snake! There's a snake in the cabinet!"
She stands well back and readies her sling. "This is a job for your brave fighter types. And don't worry, if it is poisonous and you get bitten we will try to think of a way to save you."
"There is plenty of soap. And I didn't steal the rocks I just borrowed them in case they were useful. And someone might not know that the rocks weren't there before they went to get a towel and then they would get bitten before they found out so it wouldn't matter anyway."
If Arkanis's kick hasn't caused the snake to emerge Alora will use the end of her short sword to flick the top towel off the pile. She will continue down the pile until she sees the hissing snake.
The containers overturns, spilling soaps, towels and bits of wood everywhere. In the midst of the towels is a 3' long grayish-white snake. But what also clatters to the floor is a golden key.
That snake does *not* appear happy at the way it was ejected from the cabinet. It makes an angry hiss, rising up on itself to face the party.

OOC: power is knocked out here.
"I don't think that was a very good idea," she whispers in a worried voice. "You were supposed to talk me out of it."
Minion, roll 1d20 for save vs. Spell.
Just waiting on @Nonnahswriter

Alora, not wishing to annoy the furniture, replaces the dolphin soap where she found it.

It's trapped in there. We should just leave it alone.
Alora gives Anomen one of her hardest stares. "I suppose I will have to do it myself."
Alora cautiously approaches the cabinet trying to work out exactly where the snake is lurking.
