Neera fires off a Nahal's Reckless Dweomer+Magic Missile assuming the spider is far away and not near anyone. If it's actually super close then she'll hide behind Ajantis and Minsc again XD

OOC: I'm actually really scared I'll get a fireball cast on myself and kill Alora and Anomen. If I do I'm going to die IRL for killing my favorite NPC (Alora).
The Spider leaps into the air and lands on Neera, spoiling the casting of her spell as she goes down HARD. The Spider sinks its fangs deep into her arm for 4 points damage. Her face goes green, and she almost immediately begins to vomit. Oops scurries for cover as Neera is sick.
Aerie and Minsc miss, Jaheira does also. Alora scores a light blow to one leg (1 hp). Arkanis lops off half of its legs in one blow (5 hp), and Ajantis finishes it off (6 hp). The spider is dead.
Neera would be wise to have more care around vicious creatures. Figuring that the girl was in deep trouble, Jaheira hurriedly cast cure light wounds on her.

Unless there's a new set of stairs we went down somewhere, Aerie will say we should rest back at the abandoned campsite.

When Alora discovers that she can't read the scroll she will reluctantly hand it over to Aerie and Neera.
Okay. From the spider room (past the webs) the corridor runs south and west before curving back to the east, where it continues as far as you can see. If you go back to where you went south from where you came down the hole, you went down the west branch, there was also an eastern branch to the corridor. You could also have gone north from the cave where you arrived from the upper level.
