When the party is rested and ready to move she will head back to the spider room where she will ask Minsc (@mlnevese) to have a poke around in the webs she can't reach to make sure she hasn't missed anything. She will then follow the corridor south, west and east to explore the part we haven't seen yet.
After vomiting for an extended period and getting better Neera will finally groan and say, "Why doesn't anyone tell people about these parts of the adventuring life. This is HORRIBLE."
Minsc can't find anything alive, either. Around the loop to the east, you travel 80' to another fairly large cavern about 65' long. 20' from the entrance to cavern, there is an exit to the north and east. After about 30', you come to a place where the caverns and passages have been chiseled into corridors of a more regular 10' by 10' aspect to the north and east, where the more cave-like passage lies south(ish) and east.
You are in a 20' (north-south) by 30' (east-west room with an extra 10' section to the south and east leading to a stout wooden door. To the north, a passage runs north at the eastern end of the "room". The southern 20' east section also has a natural passage running a bit more south and east. It looks like it runs quite a bit south before bumping a bit to the north while mainly running east.
Neera looks at Anomen to make a joke about if we open his jar of a head open if we would find companionship but thinks the poor guy has had enough.
"Good work out there, Anomen. You must have looked really intimidating for the spider to attack you like that. I mean, since you took the hit one of us didn't, and isn't self-sacrifice in the Paladin code of honor or something? Just um, good job! Also good job to the rest of you for killing those things! I'm not looking forward to seeing anymore of those at all!"
Neera continues to stroke Oops's fur while talking.
Oops purrs harder and rubs its face against Neera's. His fur is soft and he is warm. His feet do the kitty "making biscuits" thing against Neera's shoulder.
OOC: I was working on the basis that we were fully rested. If we only waited until Alora felt up for it we'd only sit down long enough to eat a piece of chocolate cake (admittedly a rather large piece) and then we would be off again.
Jaheira didn't have much to say, aside from the fact that, if she were a spider, she would attack him. He had served the role of spider sponge most admirably.
The door is neither locked nor trapped and opens on a 10' by 10' corridor running dead east. After 60', it turns north After another 20' it opens into a 20' (north-south) by 40' (east-west) room. It appears to be a museum of some kind, but unfinished. The west wall shows a series of frescos. The first shows a young boy practicing with a sword, then of the same boy, older, slaying a wild boar. The next image shows a warrior carrying off a dead barbarian, then the same warrior in the midst of battle, slaying barbarians. Since you found the Wizard's bedchamber and know his initial was "Z", this warrior must be Rogahn.
The far eastern wall shows a similar set of sectioned frescos: A young boy gazing upward at the starry night sky, a studious young man reading a tome, an earnest magician turning water to wine before a delighted audience, and a powerful wizard casting a sort of death fog over a battlefield. Based on what you saw in the Wizard's bedroom, you are willing to bet that these are scenes from the life of the wizard Zelligar.
The northern wall has a series of unfinished frescoes. The ones that are finished include the two men shaking hands, apparently for the first time when both of them were younger, winning a great battle against barbarians in a hill pass, gazing upwards together at a craggy outcropping that resembles where this stronghold is located, but much less overgrown, and the next space is blank.
Next to the wall to the north are a series of glass-covered "Exhibits"- a letter of thanks from a local large landowner for stopping the barbarian invasion, a curved barbarian sword, and a skeleton hung on a hook which projects out from the wall. A plaque next to the skeleton proclaims it to be that of the leader of the Barbarian Invasion. Kind of gruesome, actually, but not out of line with the mores of the time. (it is held together with fine pieces of wire).
There is plenty of blank space and empty places to fill with future pieces. Whatever happened to the two men, they planned to be in this stronghold for some time. What happened to them, you don't know.
OOC: Yellow, that means lemon flavored right? At least it's not lime.
Being recklessly loyal Ajantis moves to Arkanis' side and chops at the evil goo (unless, of course, someone else in the party shouts something along the lines of 'No, you fool!').
While she couldn't remember the best way to deal with this newest arrival, smashing it to a pulp seemed as good an approach as any. Hopefully, bludgeoning was the way to go.
Neera js just going to stand back. Last time she tried to cast a spell she got wrecked. She'll just provide moral support. "You guys got this ooze-slime-thing! Yeah!"
OOC: Ok good. We have slashing, piercing and bulgeoning attacks covered.
OOC: Yes, so long as it's not one of those things that divides when you hit it and can only be destroyed by fire I think we are all good.
OOC: She wouldn't throw one of those at a level 1 adventuring party... Would she? o_o;;
Trying to keep her distance, for fear the jelly might suck her into its slimy body, Aerie bats at the thing with her staff. She'd thought about using her sling, but her luck was poor with that weapon, and she wasn't so sure that the bullets would even hurt it.

Neera cuddles Oops and pets him in appreciation.

OOC: full rest, I memorize DOOM again.

Alora will fire at the jelly with her sling.
