No I do not own a pair of leather slippers. Although I think this might be british slang coming in, as I do not see the comfort of leather slippers. Mine are both a cotton/poly blend to keep my feet warm around the house.
To answer @Shandyr question earlier... Wooden Roller coasters are older, rickety with little safety measures to keep you in your seat. You need to hold on for dear life or be tossed around like... well... I really can't think of a metaphor. Newer roller coasters, or metal roller coasters are smoother, faster, and rely on loops and spirals to generate excitement.
P.S. I did some research. So he was the star of basketball? We have this in the UK as well, but it is called netball as you kind of throw it into a hoop with a net on it not a basket. It is mostly played by girls as they look better in skirts and everything bounces when the ball bounces... Apparently...
