Who is more Adorable: Gnomes or Halflings?

VallmyrVallmyr Member, Mobile Tester Posts: 2,459
So, between our two shortest races, which is the most cute? I like gnomes more due to their connection to Fey (and therefore canonly being able to have crazy hair colors).

I love gnomes for all sorts of reasons. Conversely, I find halflings boring on so many levels.

    Tasloi.

For they have golden, cat-eyes and green skin.

I wish gnomes and halflings were real. There aren't enough little people in the world.

I'm going to have to go with halflings.

Though I wonder how @Anduin will vote. I assume he'll vote gnomes :)

This probably should go into the Unpopular Opinions thread... but I despise Gnomes... beardy little weirdos, the lot of 'em.

Halflings, on the other hand, are like little cherubs without wings!

Is it? Maybe I'm just a lone spirit traversing the planes, in search for an answer....

Nah, I'm fooling around, it's totally me!

    Totally agree.
However, there are cannibalistic vicious halflings in the Planar Sphere that will love to strip the flesh off your bones and drink your marrow. I think they are the canon halflings from a creepy setting where everywhere is a desert. What was its name.

You know there's an idiom in German:
    "jemanden zum Fressen gern haben"
which literally translates into "to like someone that much that you could just eat them up"
The English equivalent idiom for that would be "to love someone to pieces"

I guess that applies here ;)
It's just their way of showing their affection for you :)
They love you to bits and pieces
    Hahaha okay, you convinced me.
They still scream so adorably when they die, so that also should count.

Once you go gnome, you never go home.

I think I may have mentioned this before...

I don't know, it just never clicked with me.

Actually, we have dwarves in our garden. My daughter worked at the Disney store, so we have Snow White, Doc, Grumpy and Dopey in the yard.

    There's a good discussion on gnomes-halflings here: http://www.gamegrene.com/node/299

For me, a dwarves' fan, it's hard to choose between other shorties.

I'm more of an idea that there can be both adorable halflings and adorable gnomes, just not each of them is adorable.

They are both equally tasty in a well seasoned stew if that helps anyone to decide.
