LOL... OOC Do your slimes hang low? Do they wobble to and fro? Can you see 'em in the dark? Will they eat you in one go? Can you melt 'em with your caster like an evocation master? Do green slimes hang low?
Okay, so toting up the rest of what you found, you also have 18 casks of liquor total, and 9 bolts of silk. The casks are filled with whiskey and are worth 50gp each. The bolts of silk are worth 100 gp each. Given how heavy they are and how much space they take up, you'd be able to fit them all on the boat and row or sail it back to town. Otherwise, it will take numerous trips by foot.
Scratching at the back of his head, Minsc tried to solve the puzzle before him. Silk was not evil. Neither were casks. "Perhaps there is some black silk magic, Boo." Boo did not seem to agree with this idea. "Then maybe walking bones need dresses!" Yes, Minsc decided. That had to be it.
@Reedmilfam Like I said... other smugglers... on a ship...
Xan has been reading the partially burnt spellbook while they have been waiting. "I think the skeleton in the robes was a mage," he says, "and a fairly powerful one as well. His spellbook has a spell to animate the dead. He may have made the skeletons to protect his secret laboratory from any who would have intruded on him." He reaches into a belt pouch and produces the paper he found upstairs. "That would explain this cryptic note about "Beyond skeletons" as well."
"No. It means that beyond skeletons, we find evil!" Minsc grew tired of Xan's foolishness and wished the weakling would learn more about the world. Maybe, one day, he would accept the Wisdom of Boo.
I think we have to go down to the beach and see if we can see a pirate ship. And if we can I guess we have to get into the rowing boat and row out and board it.
@Fighting_Ferret ....ahhh it's all good, ask to jump in the queue for the next one if you're curious, a steep learning curve is all part of it! Just enjoy the whole experience and if in doubt, follow the most fun other character to a horrible, painful and goo-coated death!
"Yes," Minsc said, for he wanted to remain in charge. "We will look for floating boat, huge like Minsc. And then we will see evil and Boo will bite out the eyeballs while Minsc takes care of the butt-kicking." Such strategies were beyond the grasp of most, but not of heroes. Like Minsc, and Mazzy, and Boo; unlike Xan.
Xan's going to take whatever seems interesting or useful from the remnants of the wizard's laboratory, and then he's going to contemplate the tragedy of Minsc's misplaced optimism and his inevitable disillusionment...
Okay. There is no beach here. Just the sea cave, and beyond it, lots and lots of water, which gets very deep very fast. You can't see this cave from the town, or vice-versa.
"Boo is no fish, but he will bite the eyeballs of any that bring evil." It was a good thought to share, or so Minsc thought. "Is this pirate fish tasty? We can cook it on stick with fire. Minsc has done this to fish, once or twice. Ah, the memories. Fish, fire... Steel on steel..."
Xan finds the Golden Human Skull w/750 gp, Gold Apple w/150gp, Gold Rose w/150gp, and the five disc-like objects, worth 50gp altogether.
The Spellbook holds: Affect Normal Fires, Find Familliar, Message, Fool's Gold and Animate Dead.
The book in front of him is titled, "Ye Secret of Ye Philosopher's Stone". Xan pages through it to find a very learned and erudite tome. He only understands about one word in ten. "Stone", "Transmuting" and "Gold" recur frequently.

OOC: @LadyRhian - this is done? It's over? :-|

This sounds like a really bad plan.
