Utopia's music is just so creepy and otherworldly.

Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple, the only actress I will ever accept in that role!

I prefer this one myself, and it also has a brilliant theme:

Is it my imagination, or is Game of Thrones the only memorable theme of the 21st century?

A few TV themes that are a little different than what I've seen yet:

And since I've been binge watching Newhart lately, I've had this great Mancini music in my head for days:

"Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl."

The Adam West Batman theme is a classic... :)

Two more classics from the 2000's and 1990's:

And for all my fellow children of the 1970's, this was my entire musical childhood, and maybe yours, too. WARNING: Here there be earworms. ;)

And, oh Lord, perhaps the ultimate geek child's musical epiphany in 1977:

@mlnevese - am I too naugthy to say the dark father is your Vader, and Stargate and Galactica are your sibling aspirations? ;-)

I love the Imperial March, but I am struck at how spinned off both Stargate and Galacica sound, to that milepost!

On first one - you made me want to go and check Firefly theme, I thank thee. Great series too, I frankly recommed!

PS. I refuse to say "Stargote" - that is how it essentially is spelled, with the Swedish "o" - and how my student years' summer job colleagues would playfully refer to Stargate series.

I still feel so, even as my Swedish has declined over the years. Call me an early spirit against cultural appropriation! ;-) And besides, the Swedes have quite some to boast for anyways.

Captain Future: timelessly beautiful soundtrack even after 38 years have passed.

This is one of those cases where the theme is a perfect match to the movie...

Back to the Future Main theme

Another theme that perfectly matches the show

    X-Men Opening Theme

The best I've ever heard was for Carl Sagan's "Cosmos", which used Vangelis' Heaven and Hell. I liked the Neil deGrasse Tyson series, but I found the music disappointing.

Fantastic Children. Not the most well known anime I think, I found it randomly at one point. But oh boy it really hit the spot for me back then^^

Heh, I heard about because it features two songs by Origa.
It was her vocals in GitS intro that stopped my hand from flipping a channel and dragged into anime world :)

Speaking of great vocalists collaborating with Japanese composers, this song got me interested in Brazilian music after I heard it in the anime Wolf's Rain

Yoko Kanno & Joyce Moreno - Run Wolf Warrior Run

Run Wolf Warrior Run (Wolf's Rain song) by TyriqueRosey

    Here's the theme song.
Yoko Kanno & Steve Conte - Stray

Wolf's Rain - Stray (Full) by IsidroAkira

I meant to post this earlier. I really liked this series, and the theme song by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis really good.

Since watching the show, I've started listening to JiHAE, the singer/actress who played Joon and Hana Seung. She's got a cool Iggy Pop/Grace Jones vibe to her music.
