Anyway, in a little bit I'm gonna post a series of images summarising my experiences in Abazigal's Lair. Here's a little something to tide you all over:
@Jenzafar I think it's a Suldanesselar thing, given how, uhm, appropriately dressed Irenicus and Bodhi are :I Though I wonder what this means for the other citizens ... imagine.
That always bothered me a bit. Bodhi wearing very little, I get. She's predatory, bestial. I can see clothes not really being her thing. Irenicus, I can believe. He just doesn't really give a damn. But Ellisime is the cultured and regal queen of the elves. Image is gonna be important to someone in her position, and the whole metal-bikini-under-frumpy-robe thing doesn't really scream "sophisticated ethereal being" to me.

You have to admit, it would make our presedential debates much more interesting. Just imagine any of the current candidates following her dress code as a leader.

Funnily enough, Clinton and Fiorina would actually make the LEAST interesting candidates for such attire. Christie would be a sight...
To be fair, I seem to remember reading a FR book that said that elves were a little less concerned with nudity than other races. I honestly can't remember which one it was, but I think it was in the Last Mythal trilogy as there were several Vasaan (sp?) warriors with black glass sword which were helping to fight the phaerimm.
Maybe Ellesime is wearing "The Empress's New Clothes?" She thinks she's wearing some elegant, stylish, avant garde outfit, that she was convinced to wear by some bard with an 18 Charisma and a Charm Person spell?
Just sayin', not wantin' to take the focus away from humor here, and of course we shouldn't, given the fact that the last time we accidentally got serious, the whole first meme thread got shut down, but, yah, tread carefully with this sort of thing. Could we also post humorous memes here about this:
Again, just sayin', yada yada yada, master of our own domains, not that there's anything wrong with that, have a care what you post in what should be a purely humorous thread.
@BelgarathMTH: I understand completely. I happen to be one of those sympathetic males. For the record, I was not being serious, and I do not want this marvelous thread to be closed.
EDIT: And rest assured, the Seducer kit for thieves I'm currently developing is more about psionics than showing skin.

In all seriousness...
Elves: * Don't age, live practically forever * Greatly outnumbered by humans * Never hear about elves with 20+ kids. Quite the opposite, their family structures seem closer to human ones. * Don't seem to care much about nudity...
I get the impression that they are really not a very sexual race. Where humans reproduce like rabbits, only young elves seem to be anywhere near as prolific (ie: Coran, whom you will note, is in getting in trouble in human cities).
For Ellisme, her outfit just might not be as eyebrow raising among elves (especially older ones) as it is with humans.

Such jerks.
I can't help but feel partly responsible for not putting on any clothes today. It is something I shall have to ponder on.
