I immediately thought of Minsc, too, but hasn't Jim Cummings been involved in the AdvY production for a while? I don't know who this loud newcomer could be, otherwise. Maybe Mr. Foley meant Imoen? Or Jaheira? Hmm.

Heidi Shannon (Jaheira) would be a logical guess. She hasn't had an IMDb credit in 13 years. That would certainly make me doubtful about getting her to do VO work.

I'm thinking they were a bit louder than Minsc. When Amber first heard it she almost jumped out of her skin. I'm sure once the dialogue goes through post-prod it'll be pulled back a bit, just so we don't blow out the eardrums of some unsuspecting innocent playing the game on headphones. But the performer gave it their all--by the time they got out of the booth they were drenched in sweat and the monitor they were reading the lines from was drenched in saliva.

I know this is a hijinks thread but I has serious question: any chance those voice actors are recording new PC sounds? Because I'd really like to hear a new soundset for a male protagonist.

Off subject-ish I really like the name Clara. Maybe I'll name my future daughter (if I have one) Clara. Make a trend in my family of naming people after fictional characters.
