There're no registered domain records for Cameron Tofer.
That's because there IS no Cameron Tofer. The man's a myth, a story little game programmers' mothers use to scare them when they're misbehaving. Check into it. There is no credible evidence the guy exists, and even if he did, there's no way a single human could have done all the things attributed to him. NO. WAY.

Now I know why everytime I write such a name, the autocorrect makes it Cameron Tiger.
ok it's not completely ready but give us something, screenshots maybe , something
Well you asked for it.
My characters name is
Daran Highhammer (of Clan Highhammer in the Icewind Dale region of course)
He's a fighter/thief neutral good dwarf.
He's basically the kind of guy who gets hired to go in and deal with monsters/pests. Might be a goblins, kobolds, or some other similar monster. He's not the type to barge in either, unless its necessary. He's more of the sneaking type.
I don't want to get into specific details regarding the circumstances you find him in, though technically I was informed of that long before I was hired (I'll leave that up to anyone in a higher position at Overhaul if they want to revealing that kind of stuff at this point).
I am however working in my spare time for a mod for him for Adventure Y and hopefully later BG2EE.
The reason I went with a good aligned dwarf is because most dwarves you encounter in Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 are either neutral or evil. Even the neutral ones are pretty much going to be either a mercenary or trader. Most of whom aren't particularly fleshed out or when they are they tend to be jerks. In the original games the only dwarfs I can recall of any substance that are good aligned are Yeslick and Bruenor.
Yeslick of course starts out lacking any equipment and isn't found until chapter 4 in BG1 (at which point you've probably picked out your party). Also in the original game he had a dialogue bug that caused him to glitch out, which probably didn't help his reception either. That and of course the fact that if you talked to him but didn't pick him up he would leave permanently (BGEE has him go to an inn in south BG) and if you flooded the mines without talking to him he was gone for good (without codes).
Bruenor of course (outside of mods) is just a late game encounter in SoA (technically you can encounter him twice I suppose if you get Drizzt to help with the vampires).
In terms of the choice of the fighter/thief that one was more straightforward once I decided on a dwarf. There are no dwarf thieves in all of Baldur's Gate 1 and only two named dwarf thieves in Baldur's Gate 2 (Llynis and Jaylos) Ohh and you guessed it...they are both evil. (especially Llynis - whose claim to fame is stealing a teddy bear off the body of a dead kid).
Also all of the Dwarf mod NPC's I looked over were fighters, clerics, or fighter/clerics. So I thought having a dwarf fighter/thief might make things a bit more interesting (strictly from a modding standpoint).

Thanks a lot, @elminster both for the character and for the sharing of the information on him.
Now when we've learned that your character is a dwarf, and taking into account everything you've written about the lack of dwarves in BG games, of which I completely agree, I think that the chances of getting a joinable gnome or a joinable halfling in the Adventure Y, rather than a dwarf, have increased.

I guess you are forgetting Montaron.
Anyway, congrats for this honour of getting a creation of yours into Adventure Y!
If Alora somehow makes it into adventure Y in any shape I will be the MOST hype. If they kill her off though then I shall commit deeds most foul! In childish defiance I shall cast my most dark and evil (thread) necromancy! THREAD HASN'T BEEN COMMENTED ON IN TWO YEARS!? I RAISE THEE FROM THE DARKEST DEPTHS OF THE ABYSS!

Montaron:Leave me be, lest your head leave your neck. I'm a halfling, Arrrr!

Blimey, I read "dwarf thieves" as "fighter thieves"...

Lord Anduin, don't keep the stove on too long. Last time you accidentally summoned an Eldritch Horror. Took me weeks to convince it to stop trying to ravage me with its tentacles and go back to its home plane.
Since elminster talked about making a mod to make him joinable, i guess the answer is: initialy he won't be, but forumites get access to the "special edition" in which he will be. =P

Now we need a gnome and the prophecy shall be completed!

It looks like the weeks of VO work, about which we were told by Phillip Daigle in April, are over.
Now, we all are waiting for the announcement!;)
