@bengoshi There are two more verses, one of which is my favorite.

That's probably one of my favorite blues songs.
I digress, so did you knoy that Grey DeLisle, the voice actor for the sultry Viconia DeVir, Brielbar, Nereid, and Skie Silvershield in BG1 & Viconia DeVir, Nalia de'Arnise, Illasera, Nyalee, Diaytha, Fll'yissetat, Fayanna, and Moira from BG2 also voices:
Selina Kyle and Viki Vale from the Arkham video games, the female bounty hunter from SWTOR, Dalatrass Esheel, Kahlee Sanders, Nassana Dantius and more from the Mass Effect series, Azula from the Avatar series, Daphne from almost every modern Scooby Doo, Akiko from American Dad, Velanna, Namaya, Danella, and more from DA:O Awakening, Li-Ming from Diablo 3, and about a million other things...
She's pretty much epic.
We could probably do this with most of the mainstream voice actors out there, but she's one of my favorites. If I could do exactly what I wanted in life, I'd be a voice actor. Oh, dreams. Guess I'll just stick to voicing every npc when I GM.

This would've been a great "Did you know..." post in itself. I had no idea that Grey was also the voice for Nalia and Skie in addition to Viconia. I can't even picture those voices being done by the same actress.

This has probably been mentioned, but Bealoth and Rasaad are the same guy, Mark Meer. That's even more unbelievable then Vicky and Skie.
Grey Delisle is also the voice of Debbie, the secretary on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. I would give anything to have a character say "Two things: one, I'm going to lunch; and two, the office has degenerated into sectarian violence" in her voice.

What's more unbelievable is that this guy most importantly did Shepard. So both he and Jennifer Hale did both BG and Mass Effect series and both sound nothing alike when compared in those franchises.
I just recently learned that when you cast dispel on the fighter in Nalia's Keep (the one with one of the Flail of Ages heads), he actually regains his senses and stops attacking you. And it was by accident when I happened to do Firkraag before and hit him with Carsomyr. All those other times I thought he was just a fanatic and not charmed involuntary puppet.

Mark's all over BG2EE. The guy's a machine in the sound booth, I've never really seen anything like it. In addition to Baeloth and Rasaad he was the voice for Colin, Hokkney of Tyr, Vernus, Naiman Alore, and Ixxzethyss from the Dorn material, Knocktor the Fizzled and Zaviak from Neera's, Feldrak Feldrak'i and Voghiln the Vast from The Black Pits... I could go on, but you get the idea.

@AndrewFoley I believe you've forgotten that he was also cast as 'additional voices' in the original Throne of Bhaal expansion, most notably Cyric - which also makes him the sole returning actor from the original casting. Which is a shame, for I reckon it would not be too hard to procure other thespians such as Grey DeLisle and Jennifer Hale, although I believe their wage would far beyond the restricted budget for a small company such as Overhaul - much like Mark Meer, these two women hold commendable vocal ability and range, but far better acting skills, which Mark has only recently reached noteworthy levels of, meaning he still has to work much further to even be worth comparing to them.
Honestly, my own critical view of him is not uncommon to those familiar with the Mass Effect series, where his voice as Shepard in the first two games can be described as nothing better than 'atrocious' - it is incredibly monotone, loud and unemotional, in fact, the first time I heard it I was pretty sure it went through an autotuning process, and I still have my doubts about its legitimacy. Surprisingly enough, it was much better in Mass Effect 3, where it almost matched the performance of Jennifer Hale, only falling short of it due to the unlifelike deepness of it, but that can be overlooked as an artifact from earlier instalments. His voice as Rasaad was pretty decent in BGEE, although he obviously held no knowledge over the pronunciation of places and deities, and his fake turkish accent was somewhat off-putting. Now in BG2EE, all of the decency is gone - much like with Shepard, he now speaks largely in monotone, and his fake accent isn't even consistent anymore - there are about as many lines with a turkish accent as those with a canadian one - which honestly begs me to question as to why it degenerated so badly and so quickly, given that it was the best voice in BGEE, but ended up being surpassed by Neera in the second (who showed immense evolution, by the way, so much that I now believe she has the best voice acting of the new NPCs in BG2EE, which is hilarious considering she was easily the worst in the first game, whereas Rasaad was the best, and then suddenly in the second, the roles were inverted, with Nicola Elbro's acting easily being Ambrosia and Mark Meer's... ordure, to not use a stronger word).
Hate to interrupt such a fine discussion on voice actors and re-rail the thread, but I just recently discovered several fun minor encounters in the Bridge District that I had somehow completely overlooked for the past 13 years.
Did you know that on the northernmost of the Bridge district piers, there is a halfling warrior called Stivan the Hunter who kills seagulls for a living? If you talk to him with Aerie in your party, she will find his ornithocidal tendencies very upsetting.
On the pier south of Stivan, there is a fat human merchant called Qadeel who has two ogre slaves as dockhands. One of the ogres is sick but Quadeel ignores his pleas for a break and proceeds to horsewhip him instead. After that, the ogres attack him. If you side with Qadeel and kill the ogres, you get 6500 EXP and 200 gold. A much more satisfying resolution is just to allow the ogres bludgeon the fat bastard to death and loot the 200 gold from his body.
At night, likewise in the Bridge district, you can run into a Gnomish male prostitute by the name of Bertrand the 'Companion' who, among other things, brags about the size of his nose. Have Mazzy in your party for added hilarity.
The Ring of Gaxx and Machine of Lum the Mad are both artifacts mentioned in the 1st edition of the AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide.
Going slightly off topic, Errtu (from the Drizzt books) was a named Type 6 demon from the 1st edition AD&D. Balor was one of the other Type 6 demons, and from 2ED onwards the name Balor was used for the whole class of demons.
I didn't think it was her. What is the story behind that picture anyway? Was Viconia based on a model or was the model a fan of BG and decided to pose like Viconia?

Er... I'll be blunt: it comes from from a porn photoshoot for a male magazine - it was made before the game, and no one know exactly why the developers picked that photo for Viconia. There - I have said it.
On a more personal note - the model's breasts are really, REALLY perky, almost disturbingly so, and her... er, peach was thoroughly (and delightfully) peeled and succulent. Her beauty can be described as 'inhumanly stunning' and would be very fitting for an inhumanly beautiful character such as Viconia.
As a side note, I'll be off for a few minutes, gotta reminisce about such memories.

Out of all the informative gems in this thread, I believe this is the one that takes the cake. They basically modelled Viconia on a nude pic of a pornstar! Haha, I can hardly believe it! What I am really curious about is how the concept artist ended up selecting that picture for reference. Did he intentionally seek his muse in the world of adult photography? Or was he merely having happy time alone with a magazine, getting his stroke of inspiration while, uh, stroking? Ah, so many unresolved questions!
@Ballad I don't think it was randomly chosen. That's not a stock or public domain photo so the model probably received royalties for the use of her image...

Not remotely likely. The pictures themselves do not belong to the model, but to the company, in this case, Penthouse Magazine - if Bioware has paid anyone for the picture, it would be them, and not the model. I honestly doubt she is even aware of the picture, let alone received any sort of residual for it (which Beamdog would also have to pay for in their updated re-release of the game).
If anyone's hor... curious, that picture is featured on the May 1998 edition of Penthouse Magazine - which I imagine will satisfy @Tresset ... in more ways than one.

Not randomly chosen? You mean it was commissioned by BioWare?
Alright, I'm being facetious, but seriously, what other alternative is there? I admit that I have no clue of how the process of model selection works in the video game industry, but unless that photograph was deliberately made for BioWare, someone in the house had to randomly come across it and suggest that a portrait be based on it.
