I'm going to sit this one out. Might pick it up on sale later, but I want to see what changes they make to improve the game.
They are going down to a 5 person party. (Maybe they'll use the 6th slot as a guest spot during quests?) Anyways, I couldn't find much else yet. We'll find out more about the changes in their campaign updates.
It's interesting to read that they're still supporting Linux. One of the devs lamented supporting Linux wasn't worth gaining the small audience. ...Then again, if they're using the same engine, there's no reason not to support Linux again.
Nice to see Eder return. He and Hiravias were the only characters I really liked. ^_^
I was about as hyped as I possibly could have been pre-release for pillars since they billed it as a spiritual sucessor to BG and of course I was extremely disapointed and after Tyranny (while not terrible, not worth the money maybe if it was $10) I've lost my trust in Obsidian for now
The drop down log-in/invest at the top is really annoying since it won't go away and its preventing me from reading the page. Bugs as expected already so I'll sit this one out.
Honestly, I don't like how Obsidian arranged the pledges here. At the very least I'd expect some sort of Early Bird tiers. Or a pledge level which has only the game and the OST in it. Never was a fan of the badge thingy and special in-game items, which they also sold in PoE 1 and Tyranny as well.
Then again, I'm already backing a couple of campaigns over at Kickstarter at the moment. So there's a certain money shortage in my wallet now. Guess I will probably get around buying PoE 2 on GOG via a sale campaign. Since the archipelago setting of Deadfire with its rain forests and deserts sounds rather interesting.
So long as they don't have "build a huge boring pointless dungeon" as a stretch goal.
Suddenly with the new game that dungeon has got a lot of meaning...
Had. Past tense. Seeing as both Caed Nua as well as the Endless Paths of Od Nua get scrapped by a god with bad sleeping posture. Even the Adra Dragon will get squashed with a mere footstep of Big Ol' Eothas. So no need to even start the Master Below questline.

Still haven't tried White March, so I guess this will give me an excuse to do so at some point.

So it looks like three lowercase "L". Could you fix that so it spells "Pillars" and not "PIllars" ?
Game will be so funded by today! MWUAHAHAHA
1,1 mln USD in less than 24 hours.
And some people say isometric RPGs are not popular...
