If you've never heard of him check out his youtube channel, he does full playthroughs of classic Rpgs (including bgee and bg2ee) with hilariously entertaining if somewhat vulgar voice acting.
He's such a huge fan he'd probably do some characters for free, and hes got multiple good voices for different characters.
The only response to my earlier fishing was that it is "in development " not very helpful but normally the cycle goes development then testing so I don't think that they are doing full playthrough tests yet. However I don't know beamdog internal processes so obviously I could be wrong and they could be doing non-internal alpha tests on sections. To summarize I don't know
That's another why I'd prefer an expansion between SoA and ToB. Much more room to play with, and then Ascension if you need to up the challenge in ToB.
If Adventure Y is a success I would like to do a SoA->ToB expansion. This isn't a guarantee or promise, but rather something I'd personally like to do.

I very like this idea. Would give a good feeling to the saga, no loose ends and stuff.

And then we'd only need an expansion where you get to act out the scene described by Theodon and Jessup in the Candlekeep library.
I've never actually played BGT, or if I have its been a very long time. How specifically is the transition handled by it? (spoiler away I'm not about to play it to find out).

IIRC You talk to one of the grand dukes and this triggers the transition.
@wubble well I do have a head start on the rest how about some clues east or west of the penines and he north are we talking? I. Live a couple of miles from the middle of the country so you shouldn't be more than a couple of hours away
On the Pennines, a touch on the western side. That should start you off.
You're also a post secondary student so North Western nets you Liverpool, Carlisle, Preston, St. Helens, Stockport, Rochdale, Accrington, Kendal, Roby, Manchester, or Lancaster.
Which is a huge list until you use the word "touch" in the previous sentence. So I'd guess either Carlisle or or Stockport, leaning heavily on Carlisle.
Don't tempt me, I will track you down and Morgan Freeman both
I had taken my guessing game onto the wall to avoid derailing the thread but as @deltago is asking the same questions anyway I may as well continue here. Close to 2 of them means that they must be close together. From his list I know that stockport and Manchester virtually touch. And they match your a touch west of the penines comments. So I'm guessing somewhere near these two possibly on the eastern side of them. No idea about your termtime address though.
Back on topic slightly... presumably, the starting group from BG2 are going to become involved somehow. Particularly, I suppose folk would be interested in learning more about Dynaheir and her mission. From a personal point of view, it could affect some of the mod ideas I've been tinkering with (since Aerie is Dynaheir's successor, at least in Minsc and Boo's eyes, it's possible he'll try to convince her to take up the mission later on).
Most of the other NPC's who return in BG2, we already know what they were up to between. So maybe we'll see a scene near the beginning of them all saying farewell as they go off to do their own thing for a bit. Neera to seek out other Wild Mages, Rasaad to pursue his nemesis, Dorn to... do whatever the hell it is Dorn does when you're not around.
So, what about the rest of them? Will the other NPC's whose fates we don't know be involved at all? Will there be more deaths (I hope not)? Betrayal? Will Irenicus still have hair at this point?
@Sjerrie - if you charm Dynaheir before you talk to her when you meet her in the Gnoll Stronghold she hints that the reason she and Minsc has travelled from Rashemen, all over on the other side of the continent, has something to do with the Bhaalspawn, and possibly even CHARNAME himself. I can't remember exactly what she says, though, so I'm not certain of how spelled out it was.
It's a bit of a shame they dropped that plot thread by dumping a bunch of rocks on Dynaheir in BG2, but it is what it is.

Also I will not accept any Morgan Freeman impersonators and believe me I'll know...
see how easy it is to imitate his voice? You just did it in your head.
