Seems like a lot of trouble to go to in order to basically cheat. I would just mod the slayer spell so that it doesn't damage you if I wanted to do this.
By the way, if anyone is interested in such a mod, just ask me.

Sometimes, I actually use the console or EEKeeper or Near Infinity to replicate the effects of tricks that I'm too lazy to perform for the xth time. I just find it fun to figure out ways to screw with the game without needing external editors.
It's the difference between a basketball player scoring a three-point shot from across the court, and a guy who just pulls a stepladder up to the hoop and drops it in. Both of them successfully put a basketball through the hoop--and if you had to do it, the latter method is definitely much more efficient--but the first one is a lot more cool.
True, but I liken this more to bouncing the ball off the ceiling and getting the basket. Clearly requires skill, but it is against the rules. Anyway, I digress...
There are some things Hexxat can die from (illithids, death spells) that will interfere with her regeneration script. In these cases, she will never be able to regenerate on her own and you actually NEED to resurrect her with magic for her to come back. However, if you use Raise Dead she will only have 1hp when she comes back and her script will make her die again, but this time she will actually regenerate on her own.

I looked into it and I was actually able to fix this bug with the Hexxat scripts on my own. I will likely add my little fix to my Tresset's Choice Tweaks sometime soon. I hope the devs can implement an official fix for this eventually too.
The only warrior kit that can get the Star Sapphire at level 1 is Barbarian, by using rage. None else can get enough strength.
This means that aside from Barbarians and thieves specializing in picking locks, no other classes can legally get the Star Sapphire at level 1 (Knock and DUHM are both level 2 spells, and I don't know that non-CHARNAME druids/shamans ever get a way to increase strength past 19)
Confronting Tranzig or joining a bandit group is not the only way to learn the location of the bandit camp. During chapter 3 a group of bandits will appear next to the ruined caravan in the area between Beregost and the Friendly Arm Inn. If you kill all of the bandits except for their leader, Deke, he will surrender. You can then persuade him to reveal the location of the camp if your reaction or strength is high enough. Deke will also reveal the location if you charm him and talk to him.
That is what I used to do, but now I get Elminster's advice. Talk to the bandits and when I get to the camp I fight Tazok. I then go to the bandits that you are talking about and get their scalps and then go to Beregost to talk to the mage there.
Then return to the camp.
You get a lot more goodies doing it in that order.
If you go to the mage in Beregost or to Deke first, you miss out on some of them.

It isn't there when you return after going to BG>
If you're still level 1 when you reach chapter six, either you're a genius or you're ridiculously lucky.
@Pokota: One person has completed BG1, BG2, and ToB with a level 1/1/1 Fighter/Mage/Thief. I don't know the details, but I assume the BG1 run involved heavy use of wands and Arrows of Detonation and Dispelling. A Wand of Fire can get you through almost everything if you can keep it charged.
If you use a Protection from Undead scroll on Hexxat, she won't be able to drink potions.
This is because the scroll makes her untargetable by undead critters, and since she is undead herself, she can't target herself with any item or spell. The same applies for any use of the protection from creature type opcode.

Oooh, I'll have to read through that run. I assume that it predates BGEE?
There is a level 1 Wild mage from the ee era who soloed bg 1. Its on youtube.

A cool way to kill Sarevok I dare say... at least when youre level 1
Incidentally, luring Sarevok outside and killing him there allows you to backtrack to the city and finish off any jobs, travel to Durlag's Tower or Balduran's Isle, and whatnot. You don't win the game, and it doesn't end, before you enter the Bhaal temple again.
Do as in the movie - sneak forward without being seen and throw a fireball at Sarevok & co from out of their sight, then just leave the temple. Sarevok should appear shortly, without his henchmen.
Just tested it - you shouldn't be seen because the exit is blocked after you have had your conversation with Sarevok.

It was done by @bbear and although images are unfortunately no longer there, videos are (at least, for BG2 and ToB)!
EE prevents thieves and bards with Use Any Item from using NPC-exclusive items like the Corthala Family Blade or Hallowed Redeemer. However, there are four exceptions:
1. The Sword of Arvoreen, which, as @Alesia_BH has noted, is usable by any halfling. 2. The Bow of Arvoreen, also usable by any halfling. 3. Entropy, Haer'dalis' short sword, which can be used by any tiefling Blade (which means certain mods could let characters besides Haer'dalis use it). 4. The Chaos Blade, another short sword of Haer'dalis' that can be used by any tiefling bard, even those who aren't Blades.
Use Any Item can get you past all of these restrictions except for the racial restriction on Entropy. This is because Entropy, but not the Chaos Blade, has the "Restrict Item" opcode that Use Any Item cannot bypass.
In EET, you can re-visit most BG1 eras (excluding Baldur's Gate and Candlekeep) even after entering Shadows of Amn. This means you can have BG1 items in BG2 as long as you don't collect them during BG1.
This is especially useful with the Martyr's Morningstar, which reduces the target's HP by 15% of its maximum on a critical hit. If you combine it with Critical Strike, you can guarantee a critical hit that will knock 15% off the target's total HP, killing it in 6 or 7 hits no matter how high its HP is. A helmet can block the effect, unfortunately.
There's a platform with a crate on it just outside the entrance to the Spellhold asylum. The crate isn't empty! The only problem is, you can never reach the platform, no path leads to it . You can only use cheats to teleport yourself there (CTRL+J).
The cheater's reward is RNDTRE01.ITM which doesn't even have an entry in my install's RNDTRES.2DA so I ended up looting 1 gold coin .
Be warned however: Characters protected by this effect are still vulnerable to chunking from excessive cold damage and petrification! That is just a limitation of the opcode.
Another way to apply this effect is to download the attached files and extract them into your override folder. Then use the console to create a scroll of MDK2.
C:CreateItem("mdk2summ")
Whoever you use the scroll on will be protected from chunking in the same way. The advantage of doing it this way is you get gratuitous fireworks with the casting!
See, Kyland, sure, I know you're not such a bad guy, you're just following orders and all but... See, I prepared this insect plague just for you and it feels like such a waste not to use it...

Or rather, one of your buddies prepared insect plague, and it'd be a right shame not to use domination to turn it against you.

This isn't about avoiding EXP, this is about relative power. You can only do so much with 15 HP, a base THAC0 of 20, and level 1 spells.

If, for whatever reason, you wish to remove this effect so they can be chunked again then use this code in the same manner. Be warned however: Characters protected by this effect are still vulnerable to chunking from excessive cold damage and petrification! That is just a limitation of the opcode.
