For anyone who hates traps: Ctrl-4 (with DebugMode enabled). This reveals all script triggers in the area in blue highlights, which includes traps so you can see their exact location and size. I have been abusing this a lot as of late.
If you hate traps so much, there is a mod that disables them.
This console code will give you a stack of 9000 Identify scrolls, obviating the need for resting to restore level 1 spell slots or the Glasses of Identification:
C:CreateItem("SCRL75", 9000);
You can also avoid collecting nonmagical ammunition by giving yourself stacks of each ammunition type. Here are the codes for arrows, bullets, bolts, and darts:
It doesn't actually give you all that much in monetary terms. At the end of most of my runs, I've only used about 500 of any given ammo type for each character, which amounts to 75-150 gold for a party of six. But it does save a lot of time in inventory management.
I usually use these codes the moment I have the Identify spell or a couple hundred gold.
I was just listening to various audio files in NI and I found out that the sound a Kansai's Kai ability makes when it is cast is a modulated version of one of Yoshimo's battle cries! At least it certainly sounds like this is the case...
Just recently, I've noticed Korax the Ghoul in BG1 sounds pretty much like the Avatar of the Forgotten God in BG2 during the Cult of the Unseeing Eye quest.

Apparently he sounds also like a wise man, a mad man, a wolf man and a fake dwarf amongst plenty others just in BG series =D
You can actually get a total of 4 Potions of Defense by saving the merchants from Silkie. Each of them carries one that can be picked from their pocket and they will give you a fourth one when you talk to them.

Neat! I didn't check Franklin Welker's record for this, I only heard Corax and immediately thought about that S-L-O-W talk by the Avatar Of Amaunator. For is fun, all previous 100+ playthroughs I didn't hear the similarity.
Speaking of voice sets, Reynald de Chatillon uses Duke Eltan's from the first game.
Are you sure? Then it's Frank Welker again
BTW, a lot has been said about the voice of Entar Silvershield in SoD, but the voice actor for him is the same as in BG1, Gregg Berger, - but in BG1 you don't get a chance to listen to Entar. You could hear his voice, though, in BG1, as the voice of Davaeorn, Rieltar Anchev and Sonner. To listen to the voice of Entar Silvershield from BG1, you need to open ENTAR.CRE with NearInfinity - he'll sound the same as in SoD, with a Parisian accent.
Gods have done battle on the face of Faerun, and i'm not speaking of the Time of Troubles. In an event known as the OrcGate Wars in ancient times, two pantheons of gods, Mulhorandi and Untheric, faced off against Gruumsh, Bahgtru, Luthic, and the other Orcish gods. The aftermath of this event led to the creation of some nations we know today, like Rasheman. All Orcish gods appear to have survived this battle. Near the entire Untheric pantheon was wiped out for good, as well as Horus from the Mulhorandi gods.
One of the only Untheric gods to survive this battle you might recognize as the god Tiamat.
@WarChiefZeke Tiamat, eh? Is she not the evil 5 headed mother of the chromatic dragons? I believe her brother is Bahamut, the platinum dragon, father of the good metalic dragons and also a god.

One of the changes made to BGEE compared to the original game is that priests in the game (when possible) often have kits. Nalin (the priest of Helm in Nashkel) for instance is considered mechanically to be a priest of Helm in the game. The same can be said for other priests of Lathander, Talos, and Helm found in the game.
You can actually get a total of 4 Potions of Defense by saving the merchants from Silkie. Each of them carries one that can be picked from their pocket and they will give you a fourth one when you talk to them.
You can get them another way too. Charm them before the fight with Silke. If you move away from Silke, at least some of them will be killed by lighning bolts. This makes the battle safer and gives you extra potions too.
One thing I tend to forget is that Shandalar (who sends you to Ice Island from Ulgoth's Beard) has daughters protecting items necessary to replicate a Halruaan skyship.
As I like to do a favor for the Thieves' Guild long before Chapter 7 and have no sense of stealthiness, this usually means that Shandalar is actually justified in sending me to Ice Island if I visit Ulgoth's Beard late...
You can force-attack and murder Fuller and Hull in Candlekeep without any repercussions (except of course for the reputation loss if you win, or loss of your life if you lose). I attacked them both, walked up to the Candlekeep steps and fought them in front of Gorion and Imoen who just looked on calm as anything.
The Strength bonuses from Crom Faeyr are almost exactly equal to the sum of the Strength bonuses from its component parts:
Gauntlets of Ogre Power: 18/00 STR, +3 to hit and +6 damage Girdle of Frost Giant Strength: 21 STR, +4 to hit and +9 damage
Crom Faeyr: 25 STR, +7 to hit and +14 damage
The THAC0 bonus is a flat sum; the damage bonus is 1 higher after the hammer is forged. Forging the hammer will be a net boost to your party's damage output unless (1) your hammer user has low APR, possibly because s/he is a cleric, or (2) your hammer user can already attain high STR, possibly thanks to cleric buffs like DUHM, at which point the Runehammer is the superior hammer for your party.
There are a series of random ambush areas that are unused in the original BG1 (an example being AR6110) that contain both neutral and hostile members of the Flaming Fist. One of the Flaming Fist members that will talk to you says the following (and then goes hostile).
"HALT! You will go NO FURTHER! Word of your crimes has preceded you, and you shall be punished accordingly! If even half of what I have heard is true, you are deserving of nothing but the swiftest death!"
If you attack Firkraag without warning, no one in the party will question your judgment. But if you tell Firkraag during his dialogue that you're about to attack, then Edwin will leave the party, telling you that you're an idiot for attacking a perfectly non-hostile red dragon.

Did you know there were hundreds of times when I thought: "I never knew that? That's really cool. I'm going to try that out on my next run through."
Did you know I have already forgotten every single one of them . . .
