False, I think? I actually can't remember and I just tried to log in and a) can't remember my password and b) apparently I created the account before you needed to associate an email address with it and there isn't a way for me to reset my password. Not that it matters, but now I'll never know for sure if I created an article or not.
The next poster has had many a login issue over the years with many a website.
False, but that could be easily modded to happen, by reading all the animations in the game (in the EEs you have a .ini file for each set of animations), and copying over the sitting man animation's files over them. I might code it tomorrow but I'm off to sleep now.
True... I think. Daylight Savings Time just hit the US over the weekend. So I either woke up less than an hour ago, or I will have woken up an hour from now. I keep forgetting how that works.
The next poster doesn't bother with local time anymore, and just uses UTC for everything.
What's an UTC? Anyway, It's surely can't be used for everything so false.
The next poster watched MacGyver episodes and enjoyed them. (Now that i check the spelling i must add that the older episodes with Richard Dean Anderson, apparently there's a new series started in 2016 O,o)
Thinking about democracy just makes me feel worried.
The postwar democratic order preserved peace in Europe for decades and kept Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan safe from foreign attack, freeing all of them to focus on economic reconstruction and making them the economic powerhouses whose innovations and progress feed the entire world. But World War 2 has faded from living memory, communism has utterly vanished as an existential threat, and people no longer see the value in the current world order. People don't seem to care as much when world leaders commit human rights violations or break international law. People are losing interest in a lot of things, and yet the most strident opponents of the world order have no idea what to replace it with.
The issue you're bringing up is called Nihilism. Democracy is one of the reasons this is such a common trait in people these days. People feel they don't wield any power, it disappoints them. This, combined with some other certain trends that are present in the western world since millennia ago.
The next poster will name the author that influenced this post (ez).
False, one can never post too much in this thread.
The next poster has posted way, way too little in this thread but will compensate that from now on by enabling their HLA "whirlwind posting" every round for the next 6 rounds.
When I was very small, there was a small park in California my mom used to take me to. In the very center was a massive, massive tree watching over the whole park. Maybe it seems bigger in my memory, but it looked over 40 feet tall, and 10 feet wide at the base.
Maybe someday I'll go back and see if it's still there.
The next poster also has a special place from their childhood they'd like to visit again.
True, but I visit all the time. It's a protected parkland a few minutes from my childhood home and any time I get the itch while I'm there I walk literally 2 minutes or less to a back entrance to the trail system, then quickly verge off trail, poke a little smot if I got some, and just lean against a tree with my butt on some moss and enjoy the peace and breathe in that beautiful forest air.
The next poster thinks civilization is overrated outside of the help it provides people with disabilities (mental and physical) who need some elements of it to live more comfortably and longer.
also @ThacoBell I think you misread my last "next poster", I was jokingly asking you if you ate people who were vegan, not if you yourself were one lmao no need to get all preachy about your dietary choices when I wasn't being preachy about mine
The next poster has backpacked from Mexico to Canada before.
@GenderNihilismGirdle Sorry that came across preachy. It was supposed to be a joke about not eating a person as they have probably exploited animals in the past, thus eating them would in effect be exploiting animals.

The next poster finds a lot of things funny that probably aren't meant to be.
The next poster also laughs at, uhm, democracy and thinking themselves doing some dumb thing. Dunno.
