Goodness. I asked beamdog support for the steamkey for the beta. Yeah I am like the real-life version of the slowpoke meme. Hopefully I will be able to play the beta.
@Shandyr I know I wasn't mentioned in yours or @bengoshi list, and I would be more than happy to join the army and participate, but I only have the Beamdog version of BG:EE on Mac and refuse to use Steam. I was not available during the previous Beta, so I could not get in. Sorry guys.
Well, more players playing the beta is actually a good thing even not taking into account any milestones. If you find a bug that hasn't been reported yet, you'll contribute to making the EEs better because the patching process won't stop with the 2.0 release.
We still don't know how many days are left for the open beta but I guess there're at least several days left, because the latest buld was released only yesterday. Moreover, according to Dee here - https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/comment/725741/#Comment_725741, the Beamdog folks are off for Easter weekend, and they all will get back to the office on Tuesday.
By now, some of you might suspect that I have a fondness for weirdly homogeneous custom parties.
With that said, meet the Red Dragon Sisters!
Of all my uniformised parties, this is probably the most difficult one to play. Just keeping in mind which sister knows which spells is already kind of a doozie. Sometimes I give up and just pelt enemies to death with six simultaneous castings of Melf's Minute Meteors. Which is fun.
@bengoshi While I would love to answer thy summons, I'm afraid I am unable to do so. Tis' my computing device, it is not of a high enough caliber to handle beta versions.
@Anduin ,
I've never knew your hunger for power is that immense. I will team up with that poor tortured mouse and answer to your, oh so grand lichdom with my oh so übertacular lichness . Every lich wants to rule the world. muahahahahaha
Because those 500 characters won't screenshot themselves, here are a few others that are kinda special to me:
Darbon the Archer, who was my first character in BG:EE, now appearing in the glorious version 2.0 for the very first time. Also featuring: Neera, Rasaad, Dorn, Alora, and Faldorn.
Similarly, this is Zelina the Avenger, my first character in BG2:EE, sporting a very EE-exclusive party of NPCs: Neera, Rasaad, Dorn, and Clara.
And this one is Savil, also an Avenger, who was the character I took through my BG:EE let's play. At the end, his party consisted of Imoen, Coran, Quayle, Shar-Teel, and Baeloth.

Guess im not cool enough to be on the call to arms list .. but ill help out anyway
I'd just like to note that in this case it was the call by Shandyr, not me, although he borrowed the list I used when wishing the forum Merry Christmas in 2015. That list included forumites, who were known to me, whom I could remember. Of course, some time passed since then, and more forumetes appeared/came back, became more active.
So, it's not anything like "cool" list, it was just the list of forumites I remembered back in December 2015 to wish them Merry Christmas.
The cool list of this forum should be much, much longer than that.
Welcome to the beta of the 2.0 update for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition!
Beamdog: If you were part of the Road to 1.3, you will find the Beta products in your Beamdog client. Just download and go! If you don't have these, we'll let you know when we are adding new testers for the Beamdog versions.
@deltago If you bought the games from Beamdog previously and you're ok with using Steam, you can contact Beamdog Support and ask for a Steam key to get involved. That's what I did just the other day
Answering @Shandyr 's bengoshi-summonTM! Cast Wish: join in on the beta fun! Charles of Beamdog appears! No tricks: Steam keys instantly received!
Donwload, launch... Is this really our old BG? Amazing! Volley of screenshots: Hero of a Thousand Faces
Meet my powergamer party! Directly imported from the BP to the main game (SCS Insane, so I have a small excuse). N°6 is an Assassin>Fighter with Grandmastery in Longbow.
If you bought your games from Steam, just fire up the client, type in a code, and the beta should be there.
If you bought from Beamdog, contact support to get a Steam key and get the beta.
If you bought from GOG, cry silently and hope noone notices your pain.

Post a screenshot of your main character on the Character Record screen from BGEE. Let us show some Italian Bhaalspawn!

Character Records:
Sure, I'll do so.
Poor Dee and his MacBook Air...
In the name of milestones, I give you my other Bhaalspawn, Faern, and my shaman, Talastaar.
Tune in for more at 11.

Here's some of the other chars I made then. Loaded up some old saves and dug them out. Most of this particular lot were BP ones.
Edit:
And here's my all mage-party run attempt characters.

Carry on!
Voilà! My Black Pits party (which I have rebooted to include a shaman and some of the new portraits):
One of them is a Shadow who is also a Dark Moon Monk. Another is a Djinn who is a dual-classed kensai/mage. Don't ask me how these work.
Character Records:
Funny... Why, that's the nicest thing I've heard for a quite a while on this forum!
Right after defeating Mulahey, my half-orc Shaman. Quite handsome for half-orc I might add.
Maybe next time I upload my Black Pits team.

Penguins, Rectangles, and Fruit
Have a look, @Rodrian , you're a wizard slayer/mage
Normal characters
Modesty-impaired characters (still PG13, but lots of skin showing)
