So all I need to do is corrupt befriend one of you...
Good luck. I've long since lost track of the number of times I've had to issue formal warnings to my friends...
EDIT: But now that I think about it, I could sure go for some right now.
I actually had to banish someone I rather liked a few years ago... And will not work for me... try praising my kids
@mlnevese, your children are far less annoying than most! Wait, I meant they're far less lizard-looking than Earth children. Darn it, I forgot that looking like a lizard might be a good thing for a Martian.
Hmmm, not sure I'm very good at this. How 'bout a cookie instead?
Did you know that it would appear that a large number of forumites spend so much time replying to threads, I can't imagine they have any time left over to play the games?

If you're in the middle of an attack animation, you can't immediately drink a potion or begin casting a spell. For example, if you're a thief who has just broken invisibility by backstabbing an enemy, you can't drink another Potion of Invisibility until your attack animation is over, which is a few frames, or a fraction of a second, after the attack hits.
However, you can get around this by ordering your thief to move to another spot on them while the game is still paused. This will automatically reset the thief's animation to neutral, allowing them to drink a Potion of Invisibility immediately. This speeds up all cast-and-attack behavior, which is especially important in high-pressure contexts.
In the non-enhanced Icewind Dale 1 with Heart of Winter installed, if you fight Malavon on hard or very hard mode, you also fight Malavon's "apprentice" Ilair. However, Ilair does not appear in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition, regardless of the difficulty.

Kozah is immune to generic thief traps AND bounty hunter traps. I just had quite the wild ride when the easy 4k experience I thought I was going to get became a run for my life chased by Kozah, six wild dogs, a tasloi and a dread wolf. It took me about 10 minutes and half my hitpoints to dispatch Kozah with my Wand of Magic Missiles. Fun though!
Yes, found that out once to my chagrin, and I thought at the time how clever I was to trap out the place before entering the cave.
Even worse though was the very first time I snatched the idol with the idea to sell it for big bucks (of course, why else would it be there?!). I had no idea the death knight guy would show up and we ran for our lives!
I think the issue is that he's immune to missile damage, the damage type used by thief traps. That's not unique, however. Actually, off the top of my head, that also applies to Battle Horrors, Clay Golems, and the Bronze Sentry at the Dwarven digsite in SOD. In general, I suspect that entire class of monster that are animated suits of armor are immune to missile damage, so add Doomguards and similar to the list as well. Kozah's guardian seems like it's that same type of monster, although I've never fought him. I forget whether or not it applies to Otyughs and Ettins as well, or if they're merely highly resistant.

I must point out that the slow affect from the bounty hunter trap did work on Kozah. It just didn't last long enough to save me from a mad scramble. I wasn't about to try and go to-to-toe with him in melee so I had to go the slow death route with 1/round magic missile damage from my wand.
Did you know: that there's no creature named Kozah and a certain dev spent way longer than he should have to find out that the creature in question is actually/probably named Doomsayer.
He's also got 125 resistance to electricity, which is neat.
@Abi_Dalzim Otyughs and Ettins are not immune to missile damage. I think that you have to use magical arrows though. I tend to use arrows of fire against Otyughs.

Yeah, I went on a bit of a journey trying to figure out who we were talking about too.
I"ve done of course the quest, where you find an idol to the forgotten god Kozah, and awaken the longsleeping Doomsayer.
I've never picked up on however, what the wiki's saying. Namely that Kozah is a very old name for Talos, a god who's still very present in the Forgotten Realms pantheon to this day.

@mlnevese
Your children should start their own religion. As deities.
I can even make a kit for them and add it to DoF.
(I've recently gotten into DMing and was annoyed that this wasn't included even though Murann is)

'Bet you didn't.

Of course the 50gp I got for it was so worth it

Does anybody know where this is established?
