Little things that annoy you

I has been bugging me for some time: why does the Amaunator avatar give you a shield that belongs to Bane worshippers? It is even called the Saving Grace!
Are there other little inconsistencies in the game bug you?
PS: Hurray my first evil party in BG2, Dorn's wedding crashing ability really lowered my reputation. There seems to be very few banters though.

There are other minor nitpicks, ofcourse, but I don't have time to post throughly now. I will look and comment on what others post, though.
I know he's a ranger and rangers have 2 pips in two-weapon style but still it would make sense to give Minsc 2 pips in two-handed sword and 2 pips in two-handed weapon style right at the start.
I mean, swords, not words one big sword, not two little ones.
I assume it's because of mechanics though or the fact that

An artifact of Bane even having lost most of its powers is called the Saving Grace AND is given to you by Amaunator's avatar is weird at best and breaks immersion for me. I don't really care for rule breaking, lore consistency is much more important to me.
I mean even the shield's engraved winged beast doesn't really fit for a Bane related artifact.

Viconia having nothing to say about the House DeVir survivors in Ust Natha (side note: it's been a while since I've read the Salvatore books so it's more than possible, if not probable, that I'm wildly wrong about something but if she's been up on the surface since before House Do'Urden destroyed House DeVir, she really ought to know a little more about the surfacers than she does. Also, I'm not sure, but was the game trying to suggest that Viccy was why House DeVir lost the favor of Lolth and House Do'Urden was able to destroy them?)
One thing that annoys me is that there are no white dragons in the game. There's pretty much every other chromatic dragon in the game, why not them?
Yet you can find a bunch of White Dragon Scales in Watcher's Keep.
You mean there exists both silver AND white dragons?
Is there really much difference...?
... come to think of it, there are far too many dragon species in AD&D...
inability to equip the second weapon when there's a two-handed weapon in one of the main hand's slots
