Ogrillons say "You mess with me, you mess with YOU!" because they actually have the ability to turn into your character. It's based on Captain Ginyu's body switching ability from Dragon Ball Z.
But you never see it happen because, like most special moves in DBZ, it has a casting time of over 9000.
If you drop an item on the ground, leave the area, and then return to find it missing it was taken by Elminster (someone's gotta clean up after you).
Seriously people, next time you dungeon crawl make sure to pick up all the loot enemies you kill leave behind. End adventure littering today.
He is also busy with killing anyone who want to take away your dropped plot items. Don't be a jerk! Carry your plot items with you, or place them in a proper container at least!
If you manage to be beat a chapter without leaving any loot on the floor, you main character gets +3 to HPs on the next level up.
If you manage to beat a whole game without leaving any loot on the floor, you see an easter egg video in the end (after the Sarevok and Irenicus videos respectively) in which Elminster and Volo discuss the improvements in the Faerun's ecology.
If you drop enough items on the ground in Planescape: Torment, you will be mazed by the Lady of Pain for littering. This provides a shortcut in the game because if you drop enough items in the Lower Ward or Clerk's Ward, she sends you directly to Ravel's maze.
If you rub the genies lamp in Irenicus's lair, while in the possession of Fallorain's Plate, the genie will grant you three wishes. These are limited to the choices available in a Limited Wish spell.
The Loup Garou never died. It just regenerated again and got back up after you left. But it got beaten so badly that it lost most of its powers and was later mistaken for a shapeshifter druid by the people of Trademeet.
The Loup Garou never died, but it was so badly brain damaged that even after regenerating, its INT was 2 and it couldn't take humanoid form. Eventually, it started hanging around with a group of meddling kids.
In all honesty a mod may actually do that. I actually at one point assumed it was the case, only to learn later that the ring is just a renamed protection +1 ring. Kind of disappointing all things considered.
The only thing the ring changes is that its mentioned by Ulraunt (as something that incriminates you) when you are captured.
Boo is not a miniature giant space hamster, he is a giant miniature space hamster.
In an earlier life, Saerileth (the modded Paladin) was a lieutenant on the USS Enterprise, serving under Captain James T. Kirk. She was the youngest officer in Starfleet history (only 15½ years old!)
All of this hype about Siege of Dragonspear is based on a typo.
The game is actually called Sage of Dragonspear. Your Candlekeep trained charname is hired as head librarian at Dragonspear castle, your job is to keep the library running efficiently and make sure all the books and scrolls are filed correctly.
However, your character will get a chance to use his/her combat or magic skills. The library has very strict rules regarding overdue books and you will be expected to enforce them with extreme prejudice.
Edit: "Mr. Elvenhair, you've kept that tome three days past its due date."
"Why, young Charname, I haven't seen you in ages. Look, I just need the book another few days, a week at the most."

Suffice to say, this is your doom. At 'em, lads! No mercy!
