Aerie is actually the succubus Kirinhale. After being freed from Durlag's tower she entered a wingless relocation program and got a new identity as an elf so she could more easily get pity for having her wings hacked off.
Valygar is a new type of Modron, trying his very best to study and replicate human emotions.
If you use the helm of opposite alignement on Kangaxx the demilich he will join your party and constantly annoy your female companions with his innuendo.

Yes, Morte was apparently lying about being the head of Vecna.
Also, there's a conversation in Planescape that will allow Nordrom to upgrade his crossbow and turn Morte into a Jan Jansen Flasher Master Bruiser Mate.
Jan's flashers aren't actually made of turnips. They're made of beets.
I can see the reason for that. If you used turnips fighting an opponent would be too easy. Things would get boring after awhile. Sometimes total destruction isn't necessary. Its better to just beet an opponent.

If you follow these instructions you can get another set of the big metal unit.
1. Leave irenicus's dungeon 2. Travel to the slums 3. Travel to the temple district. 4. Travel back to the slums. 5. Travel to the gate district. 6. Travel to trademeet. 7. Travel to the druid grove. 8. Enter the ogre tower (do not enter the troll cave or the actual druid's grove) 9. Leave the ogre tower. 10. Travel to Watcher's Keep 11. Talk to Sister Garlena. 12. Talk to Odren
After talking to Odren you should find a set of the big metal unit in your inventory.
For a moment, I forgot that this is not the "Did you know" thread and was like:

I don't quite understand the bit about total destruction not being always necessary...
If you have Mazzy and Korgan in your party and you spend more than 180 days before completing BG2, Mazzy will get pregnant and Korgan and Mazzy both will mysteriously leave the party.
A few days later, Mazzy returns with the Ring of Dwarven Bone from IWD.

If you talk to @elminster 300 times before he disappears, he will give you his hat, a +5 wizard hat that grants 3 extra spells of each level, five daily casts of his 'Chickenator' spell, and 100% magic resistance.
Now Edwin's just one step away from kicking Elminster's arse! He just needs some 2000 years.

Given how much @Elminster posts, Edwin just needs to log onto these forums!

Hopefully a new player doesn't come along and see that I wrote it and think that it is actually implemented
Your party can't carry more than 500 gold. Whenever you're spending more than that, you're actually just telling the merchant you'll pay them back later.
Edwin isn't actually a mage. He casts all his spells from scrolls he hides in his spellbook, which is why he gets extra spell slots.
The Slayer was originally designed to serve as a high-speed cookie cutter. If you talk to Cespenar in Slayer form, he'll give you a .
You can't see it from his normal animation, but Irenicus has a great ass.
The Unseeing Eye actually has all its eyes intact, like the animation shows. But his followers can't see it.
If you're lucky, you can meet a messenger named Ecnirp Nairegin in Baldur's Gate who tells you that he needs your help in smuggling 100,000,000 GP (ONE HUNDRED MILLION GOLD PIECES) out of Amn. The solution to this quest involves you going between different messengers, each of which needs increasingly bigger amounts of gold from you for legal expenses, bribing officials, etc. until you run out of money.
Originally, ToB was going to have a twist ending. No matter whether you won or lost, the screen would fade up on Jaheira waking up in the Friendly Arm Inn, and then... Khalid would step out of the shower! The entire Bhaalspawn saga would be revealed as just a dream!
In SoD you can take Noober with you. In that case he is going to be captured instead of Imoen and SoA starts with the words "Heya! It's me, Noober!"
If you take Noober it rearranges much of the SoD story arc.
1. When Charname gets to Spellhold he finds that Noober is no longer there. Irenicus was so annoyed by him that he kicked Noober out and sent him to Suldanessar, thinking that he would be the greatest revenge possible against the elves.
2. When you get to Suldanessar, you find that rather than facing a black dragon, you find that area filled with tied up elven civilians, all gagged, forced to listen to Noober talk.
3. If you decide to rescue all of them (Noober included) then he will join your party. He has the Jester kit.
4. Noober gets a pretty awesome quest in ToB if you decide to keep him on. He also has ALOT of banter with all other NPCs. The other NPCs don't take kindly to it, and it can even lead to a fight to the death with Korgan and Valgyar.
5. There is a bug that the devs are still working on. If you have both Noober and Jan in your party the two of them can get stuck in an endless banter loop.
That moment when you click on a random thread with an enticing title, then read some things in the OP which seem to be incredibly far fetched but interesting, then googling "Jaleel White you must gather your party before venturing forth" and finding nothing in the wikipedia page related to Baldurs gate. Come back to thread and read some comments, realize its a troll thread.

Life is *not* easy for lvl 1 commoners like us...

So, give Edwin 12500 comments and a BGEE Team Member badge, and he'll kick elminster's arse

Why else do they both start a diaglogue with "Heya!"?
*sigh*
- The pain will only be passing, you should survive the process.
