In fact, here's one of my favourite instrumental music pieces. It's "May Flowers" by the Pianissimo Brothers. It always fills my heart with joy, whenever I listen to it!
It’s funny what can give a person the will to hang on. My wife’s great aunt was heading downhill quick in 2003, until the Cubs looked like they were going to the World Series. And that was not unusual in the Chicago area.
This may seem shallow in light of recent posts, but: rediscovering threads I was in but forgot about and finding that all kinds of great conversation has ensued. Of course this isn't the only thing that soothes my soul (other things include listening to music, the apex of a late-morning coffee buzz, finding out a party I was supposed to go to was cancelled, or that an irritating coworker is taking vacation etc.), but it was a delight this morning to see what was added to the epic moments thread.

So anyway I think that consciousness is caused by a recursive loop in our brain chemistry and here's my most recent theory on dark matter and how to reconcile general relativity with the unchanging speed of light
Taking my fatbike down to a frozen lake, building me a nice sunbed of iceblocks, some walls to keep away the winds, drilling a hole and then focusing solely on fishing *ahem..* sleeping in the sun
