Yep, Australia has Christmas in summer (dec - feb) don't let that fool you though, weather in Melbourne is unpredictable at the best of times, many a rainy and, even hail stormy, Christmas!
It was also revealed that Adv. Y will be launched on spring (probably Edmonton's) 2015.
That's a red herring! Everyone in Canada knows we dont get spring. It's winter, construction season, 12 days of summer, construction season, then winter again.
I hope hey readd Neera's sister for this though. It soinded interesting.

But when do you cut down trees, eat your launch and go the lavatory then? ;p
Our forestry industry is now pretty much excluded to British Columbia only. We cut down the rest of our lumber trees in the 1800's.
Our Capital, Ottawa, was once a thriving lumber town and was chosen as the capital after Queen Victoria saw a picture of it and stereotypically thought it represented Canada perfectly. The great forests in the area have dwindled in size and is no longer a viable industry, however, one local company has taken the task of excavating old timber from the bottom of the ottawa river and selling it over seas since wood like it can't be found any where else in the world.
Since we no longer have any trees to relieve ourselves on, we go to the lavatory, whennever we have to go number 1 or 2.
Lunch usually around noon, however, if you a beurcrat, Lunch can start at 11 and last till 3 since they have nothing better to do with theor time.

We cut down trees in between meals of Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, eggs, bacon, and Spam.

Some of the comments in this thread lately have been borderline to breaking forum rules. Please people keep civil and refrain from using strong language.
It has been all but confirmed that the Adventure Y will indeed happen between BG1 and BG2.
nintendodo: You mentioned Adventury Y having at least one new NPC companion. My question is will we able to take this/these NPC(s) with us to BG2EE, or are they limited to AY only?
DaigleDopple: They are (sort of) limited to Adventure Y for the time being. Based on their popularity we will look into adding them to BG2EE.
Phillip says about a possibility of adding a new NPC to BG2 only, as if we meet him or her before BG2.
@wubble : If adventure y is set between BG:EE and BG2:EE how will you deal with the fact that charname is the same level at the end of bg1 as they are at the beginning of bg2?
DaigleDopple: We'll be playing a bit with level caps.
Instead of saying something like it's been not confirmed yet when the Adventure Y is set, Phillip answers the question so that it's clear the new adventure will indeed cover the time between BG1 and BG2.
I am strongly imagining an ambush scenario which seems all but unbeatable. A few hardcore folks will figure out a way to kill off the side ambushers and start attacking Jon directly, and once you've gotten Irenicus just low enough on HP (or use some other insta-win effect) he'll say, "ENOUGH!" and just own your face. It's not a matter of winning, but of seeing how long you can hold out and how far you get.

i assume CrevsDaak is refering to that
Rasaad
Dorn
Neera
Baeloth
Hexxat
Wilson
Gl- oh wait sorry that's not announced yet
So, we have a human, a half-orc, a half-elf, an elf (drow), a vampire, and a bear as new NPCs.
What do we miss?
The answer is obvious, by Moradin's hammer!
We miss a dwarven NPC. We need a dwarf. A dwarf, please.
According to http://thekhazadguard.wordpress.com/tips/naming-guides/dwarf-name-components/ , "Gl" is a start of a common dwarven prefix "Glo" that means "glow".
Think about Glóin son of Gróin.
According to http://trinitylarp.proboards.com/post/716/thread , "Gl"is a start of another common dwarven prefix "Glor/glori" that means silver/glitter/glittering.
So, in this case I would go for a dwarven NPC called Glorak - that can be interpreted as "Glowing Hammer".
MegaCharizardY: Just wanted to say thanks for these awesome games! DnD is my favorite, so it's great to be able to get a similar experience by myself when no one's around for a game
Just thought of a question! Who's your favorite character? (http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2msl96/we_are_beamdog_developers_of_baldurs_gate_i_ii/cm7g0xl)
BeamdogAmber: I'll let you know once Adventure Y comes out.
Trent then says his favourite is Dorn. Dorn is based on Trent.
So maybe this "Gl..." is based on Amber (you can see her selfie http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2msl96/we_are_beamdog_developers_of_baldurs_gate_i_ii/cm7cxni )
If it's so, I already like the portrait
it rains all year round

Can't wait for all of our parties to get waxed by an unbeatable ambush at the end before we transition to BG2:EE captured and hog-tied.
