I guess the Deathbringer Assault is one of the main reasons we all like to use Sarevok in ToB parties
Bounty hunters' special traps can be tossed around only in BG2EE, in BGEE it has been strangely nerfed. This feature (to throw the traps) allows new tactics and one of the favourite abilities of BHs to those who like to use this kit.

The best thing about deathbringer assault is killing one of the five in a single hit (sendai incase anyone wonders)

They can toss their special traps in IWD:EE as well.
All of you who watched EE's trailers at least once, most probably noticed that characters in those videos have names.
For e.g., the BG2EE trailer had not only Hexxat as a party member but also certain "Caravella" guy. Some of us, when the trailer was out, even thought that this Caravella is a new NPC.
The characters from the IWDEE trailer are named after the http://www.giantbomb.com staff. For e.g., Vinny Caravella is a video game journalist and Giant Bomb Video Editor and Producer. He was a video editor and producer at GameSpot before joining Ryan Davis and Jeff Gerstmann at Giant Bomb, along with friend and co-worker Brad Shoemaker. NOTE TO SELF: Name NPC in next game Caravella.
I would gladly have a look at the Let's Play with the party of six: Oster, Daigle, Tofer, Fowley, Esler and Camagna.

Trent's a pretty easygoing guy usually, but he's made it very clear he doesn't ever want to see anything resembling his name in the game anywhere but the credits.
There's a bit of a funny story about Esler I'll have to wait till Adventure Y's out before I can tell.
Also in Y, some wag of a programmer inserted a couple characters named Andrew and Phil, whose names have been changed but people who are paying attention and care to look for it will probably be able to figure out which characters those were.

Yeh, I was fortunate enough to get a bastard sword of fire during my first playthrough just before the trolls of Dragon's Eye, so I discovered this but didn't need to worry about limited uses. Wasn't so lucky in later playthroughs, though.
Did you know that there is a certain stone floor circle thing that can be seen in multiple places throughout Icewind Dale 1? It can be found in the crypt in the Vale of Shadows with the Stinking Cloud trap and on top of the Talonite ziggurat. In addition, half of it can be found underneath the fireplace in one of the generic homes in Kuldahar.
Adding to the arrows theme, acid arrows in IWDEE don't have a saving throw feature, so you can safely kill a troll in IWDEE with one acid arrow when the troll is down.
Did you know that the bottle of Razorvine Extract you find in IWD during the quest of Bandoth from the Dorn's Deep cavern is a reference to Planescape: Torment.
The only plant that grows in Sigil, the game’s big city, is Razorvine, a blackened weed with wickedly sharp leaves.

Plus the bottle is "property of Mourns-for-Trees." He's the gardener who you go to on one of the quests for Mebbeth.
A small thing but something that makes life easier for me: If you travel to the temple outside Beregost first, and then to Beregost you come out right by Thunderhammer's smithy, and there is no travelling time so you can rest (usually unmolested) beforehand to make sure you arrive in daylight (also useful if you've got nothing better to do while waiting for some armour to be made).
Oh, I just learned this today, and I don't think anyone else has mentioned it yet.
Did you know that Baeloth's speech before the fight with the party at the end of Tier 1 in the Black Pits 1 is a reference to a quote from Vizzini from Princess Bride?
Here's a video with the quote. Skip to 2:30 to hear it.
If you charm Delthyr he reveals that at least some of the Harpers believe you to be a child of Bhaal.
"I am an agent of the Harpers. I was sent to the city of Baldur's Gate to find out what has been happening to you, . We know that you have something to do with Alaundo's prophecies on the death of Bhaal. Some of the Harpers feel that you are one of the spawn of Bhaal, which is one of the reasons why I'm down here. I don't think I have any other information for you, my friend."
Did you know that it's possible to be waylaid by a basilisk in BG1? I think you have to be traveling near the area with all the basilisks in it, but I'm not sure. If that happens, then you're basically screwed. You won't have time to cast Protection from Petrification, and if you don't have a Stone to Flesh scroll at the time, then the character is gone forever since you can't go back to that waylaid by enemies area.
Did you know that in the original non-enhanced IWD Heart of Winter the Ulcaster Academy Ring's Vampiric Touch ability didn't count as being used by an ally when it was used? You could use it to kill NPCs without losing reputation or turning anyone hostile.
In fact, using it on someone didn't even cause THEM to become hostile! It was ridiculous.

Yep, this one's about as fair as the twelve-bandit ambush near the FAI, that has a chance to hit you at level one.
I usually just roll my eyes and reload the bandit one, even in a "no-reload", because I think it's a foul ball.
I'll do the same with the basilisk one, although I can often get past it despite the foul by quickly casting Protection from Petrification on the lead character, or drinking a Potion of Mirrored Eyes with the lead character, and then killing the blasted thing quickly.

When recruited in ToB, Sarevok has a special ability called the Deathbringer Assault which has two effects:
3% chance per melee hit of doing 200 bonus slashing damage.
10% chance per melee hit to stun an opponent, save vs spell at -4 to avoid.

When I watched IWDEE trailer, I noticed that Caravella is the name of one of the six-man party again.

Since then, I wanted to find out the reason.
And I've discovered it!

If you watch the IWDEE trailer, you'll notice not only Caravella, but Gerstmann and Shoemaker as well. Other characters from this trailer are Ryckert (named after Dan Ryckert http://www.giantbomb.com/dan-ryckert/3040-109456/), Scanion (named after Jason Scanion http://www.giantbomb.com/jason-scanion/3040-16335/) and Snider (named after Dave Snider, used to work as a designer for Giant Bomb)

In IWDEE a fire arrow inflicts a fire damage only if an enemy's save is unsuccessful. In BG a fire arrow always inflicts a fire damage.

Did you know that in Russia there's a gothic rock band called "DoppelgängeR" http://www.doppelganger.ru ?
So, they're basically doppelgangers of Phlydia, Dreppin and Hull.
