953. While at a library, you see an author labeled "Trollop" on the shelf and Imoen's voice immediately pops into your head: "Do you wanna tell me a story about trollops and plugtails?"
(On another note, who the heck actually wants to be called "Trollop" on a book they've written??)
Maybe the author didn't understand the word, just as Imoen doesn't.

I want to hear more about these trollops with their plugtails. I feel this is undeveloped content that should be explored more thoroughly.

Are you sure it wasn't Trollope?
Yes, the full name was Trollope. But the spine label had abbreviated it to "trollop" (i.e., minus the e).
Abbreviations are a very unfortunate thing within our library system... >_>;;
954. You create an Exchange mailbox for an employee named "Melissa" and you just naturally type "Melissan". Then your first thought is that the 'l' and 'ss' are wrong.
956. you've only got three icons on you desktop and two of them are for BG (the third being re-cycle bin). and 957. you will resort to the cheapest of tactics in order to get your 1000th like!
959. When delayed on the tarmac on an already delayed New Year's Eve flight for 3 hours due to weather you think :"Yes! Now I finally have some free time to analyze weapon proficiency choices for my Assassin!"
960. You spend more time planning characters than actually playing them since you've played the game so much you don't actually have to play the game to play the character.
(Yeah, I'm a bit weird that way, I play the game in my head more than on my computer.)
961. You pay for another copy of BG for the Ipad so you can play for five* minutes when you go to the bathroom.
63. When a bad thing happens and you start to complain about the lack of load button.
(I complain often about this one)
It was the month of January in the year 2000. Baldur's Gate was my newest obsession. I was in my trusty Volvo 240, on my way home from school in a sleet storm. I was being a typical teenager and driving too fast/stupidly/idiotically (thankfully we didn't have texting back then!). The next thing I knew I was fish-tailing, then spinning, then deep down and stuck in an irrigation ditch in the middle of nowhere. My immediate reaction? Power Word:Reload! The sudden realization that this was real life and I was now stuck in two feet of mud? Devastating... (Prologue: I wasn't hurt. The Volvo wasn't hurt. A good ole boy came along and pulled me out with his 4x4. Life went on. I learned from my mistake. You could even say I... gained experience!)
You gotta love Volvos, the Nokia of cars.
Our Volvo got totaled three months ago. It was a minor accident but apparently Volvo bumpers and exterior parts run in the thousands of dollars. Great car though. I miss it.
962. me (looking at the @Gotural 's new character, named Proesis, for the MP run): "How is Proesis spelled?
Gotural: "MM, Shield, Spook, Blindness, Protection from Evil, Mirror Image..."
So, you know you're playing too much BG when on the question of how something is spelled you begin to reflect on spells you've memorized for your character.
965. When you go play Icewind Dale 2 or the non-enhanced Icewind Dale Heart of Winter and you want all the doors and containers and stuff to be outlined, so you press tab but it doesn't do anything because in those games the default outline key is alt.
967. You start a new run and ofc know which NPC's you wanna bring, so you immediately rush to get them, but when rushing to get Edwin you've made the mistake of bringing Korgan first and he starts moaning about going to the crypts or else leaving but you cannot get past the stone golems 'cause you are very low leveled and poorly equipped and then when you rig your spell slots and prepare to take those golems on, you by mistake happen to start Jaheira's curse quest and have to resolve that quickly, and Korgan moans some more etc etc..
969. You're not afraid of thunder and lightning because you know it only ever hits people who are outside and wearing metal armor. (Besides, a few nights' worth of rest is all it takes to regain any lost hitpoints.)
970. You spend a half of your working day on creating a table comparing possible levels, THAC0, proficiency points and spell levels for single and multiclass characters in BGEE, including possible XP caps for SoD. This is when digits come alive.
971. You spend a good portion of your day catching up on how to put together a new desktop. Only to plan to have Baldur's Gate be one of the first games installed on it.
Our Volvo got totaled three months ago. It was a minor accident but apparently Volvo bumpers and exterior parts run in the thousands of dollars. Great car though. I miss it.
and then you wonder what Volo has to do with cars and phones.
973. My daughter put one of her healthy eating fliers on the refrigerator. It's titled "Portions Matter". Every time I look at it I see "Potions Matter".

Trollop
Plugtail.
/innapropriate laughter.
I hope when she says plug tail she's using a different definition than what I'm thinking.
